Professor at the Schumpeter School of Business and Economy/Department for Microeconomics and History of Economic Thought at the University of Wuppertal, Germany.
Having received his degree in economics in 1988 at the University of Dortmund, Hans Frambach has been affiliated to the University of Wuppertal ever since. He earned his Ph.D. in economics in 1992, and his habilitation thesis of 1999.
Hans Frambach is guest and visiting lecturer at several universities and other scientific institutions, board member of several councils, committees and academic institutions and a coveted consultant for private enterprises. His research focuses on history of economic thought, social encyclicals, and behavioral economics.
He is co-editor of the publication series The European Heritage in Economics and the Social Sciences, author of numerous books and articles in the field of the history of economic thought.
